AMIC E AMAT, is a work for solo singer (tenor) and string quartet written during the month of September 2012.

The title refers to the book “Amic e Amat” by Ramon Llull as the text is taken from it. Specifically, it corresponds to thoughts no. 26 and 122.
The work is written in a single movement and attempts to musically illustrate the inherent poetry of the text. At every moment, the music evokes the atmosphere, the action and the feelings of the words. The whole play is markedly lyrical and expressive.
