Évora Second Suite, for string orchestra was written in the spring of 2002. Loosely based on tunes, rhythms and dances, and airs of the Iberian musical heritage, this composition is divided into four scenes that recreate images of the Portuguese city of Évora: Moors and Christians, Dances, Longing, The Arab wall.
