The work we are presenting was published by the Milanese publishing house Vismara at the end of the 19th century. It has a clear romantic aesthetic, and, despite not having numerous orchestral effects, the effect of the serious sections of the strings contrasts with the rich and melancholic sound of the organ that accompanies the work and it gives it a truly astonishing degree of contemplation and painful affectation.
