This piece is inspired by two things, Toy pianos and the obsession with the multitude of sounds that rain offers, ranging from the very first drops, drizzle, the intensity of the storm and the last leaking drops from the pipes draining away the water. Raindrop sounds should be variable, in range and intensity. Sound production must be made with knuckles and finger pads by hitting to the top cover of the Toy piano, where the sound will be higher toward the outer edges and lower toward the centre. It is recommended that a contact mic (AKG411) be used for good amplification. Rain is the main protagonist in this suggestive piece, which transports us to a place where we can even perceive the smell of wet earth.
