The work is set in a scenario of chamber electronics. The fixed media, although it is presented as just another performer, acts with a dual role: on the one hand, it creates its own sound discourse, detached from acoustic resources, and on the other, it plays with the instruments, altering their behavior, either live or in past or future temporal planes. Synchrony between instruments and electronic events is the key feature on which the architecture of the work is supported.
Each instrument has a specific and symbolic role in the piece. The cello takes the lead role: it is the Geisha. The voice communicates with the cello and not with the public, it is the adoptive mother “Oka-san”. The violin is kept in the background, it is the true mother “Haha”; Likewise, the tenor sax represents the greatest sister and companion “Onee-san”. Percussion instruments represent the voice of the desired love.
