This piece represents a step forward for me, a journey towards new writing forms and the discovery of a language that opens a myriad of new pathways to me. Using the guitar as an instrument full of resources, with a tonality that never gives way, I have found music full of disquiet, with motifs which are intense and determined, and arpeggios that create restlessness by the moment and produce little relief in others, and pauses that leave no time to relax.
