IMPROVÍS combines classical music in the impressionist and primitivist styles to build sonic bridges between these two worlds, creating a unique universe that integrates a meditative, dark musical language. The concert offers a journey of introspection, establishing new dialogues that previously seemed impossible.
The work serves as an entry point into a distinct universe where time stands still and the shadow of Faust can be glimpsed. It also represents a reconnection with the subtle—often lost in the present moment—and with the ghosts that are part of who we are.
The project draws inspiration from the heterodox, poetic spirit of Erik Satie. It is a tribute to him and to those subtle experiences that are rendered invisible by today’s frenetic pace—experiences that stand as our unconscious mind’s resistance against disconnection from the self.
