This piece was composed in 2003 and dedicated to the clarinet player Juanjo Mercadal. It has four movements: Introduction, Vivo e giocoso, Interludio and Presto luminoso (moto perpetuo). It uses a tonal language, and presents the soloist with a highly dynamic and virtuoso role, which is also reflected in the orchestra with the use of orchestral solos. The work lasts approximately 12 minutes.
