Written in 1990 for a friends’ wedding, the piece consists of three parts. In Intrata, the discernible baroque echoes accompany the couple’s entrance to the church. At the Ceremonia, the tender music almost always surrounds a moment of meditation. The last piece reuses baroque influences to accompany the end of the festive celebration. This work can be performed in both, the sextet and quintet versions. To this end, the part of the Euphonium is optional, not that of the trombone. This Euphonium part can also be performed with a 2nd trombone. The most important passages of the euphonium appear as cues in the other required parts.
