This work moves amongst eight tonalities, like the eight winds of the rose. These winds, which come from different places, bring movement and life. In the same way, the modulations seek to bring movement and life to the work, with changing motives that ask the performer to find the tempos and characters.
Above this, the rose, the flute, the melody. A rose represents feeling, and although it is sometimes closed and mysterious, we know that finally it will open, showing us all its expressiveness.
This rose moves, carried by the wind. Together, with their complicity, they allow us to live a moment of deep expressiveness.
