This piece, dedicated to the flautist Fernando Raña, consists of four sections without a solution of continuity, in which the possibilities of some of the techniques of the contemporary transverse flute are explored.
In general, these sections are made up of small melodic fragments, which by repetition, transposition or development of these fragments make up the total form of the work.
In assigning the title to this composition, the author has considered the metamorphic process that these micromelodic structures undergo in their compositional development, in order to help the listener to follow the musical discourse during the approximately 6 minutes and 20 seconds that the work lasts.
