This duo, which drives forward from the first note, is built on a tense sound, which moves on without finding the end, the resting place. Passages marked with character, alternate with more lyrical moments in which the clarinet sings over the constant arpeggios of the guitar. The central part plays over a bossa nova rhythm presented by the guitar, on which the clarinet dances in a constant expressive movement that seeks to give a sense of freedom.
This work was premiered at the Conservatory of Tortosa, on March 12, 2015, played by Jose Ricardo Forner, clarinet, and Peregrí Portolés guitar.
