Visions d’una guerra (Visions of a war)

This piece was written in the shadow of the fruitless demonstrations against war and the subsequent invasion of Irak in 2003. The elements reflected in the piece can, however, be extrapolated to any situation of war, from a predominately expressionist vision. The four movements that form this quintet seek to offer four different perspectives or visions of war:
– Innocents or all those people, such as children, who live in a territory of conflict, and find war and the present situation incomprehensible.
– Destructors or the viewpoint of the invader, frequently with advanced war machines.
– Victims or the tragedy at the moment of destruction.
– Desolation or the vision of a landscape that has been destroyed by war.
