Despite the fact that it is a piece that stands alone, it was written to be played after Chopin’s Fantasy in F minor and is constructed as a free composition from disfigured sonorous remembrances of that piece. These recollections evolve and are combined towards other differentiated elements of Chopin’s piece. A calm and thoughtprovoking beginning is transformed into a very expressive and nostalgic melody which at the same time develops towards more intense and vibrant moments. (Sergi Casanelles Abella)
