The music tries to evoke the dreamlike character of the painting with a discourse that alternates the plasticity of the aleatory music of the introduction and of section B, with the more traditional writing of the rest of the sections (A-A’-C), and the use of different extended saxophone techniques (multiphonics, grow, vibratos, sung notes, etc.), as well as two series of sounds: the first, of 7 sounds and the second, of 11 sounds.

The piece was commissioned and premiered by the saxophonist and composer Dr. Sixto Manuel Herrero Rodes, in the auditorium of the CAM in Murcia, on February 10, 1998, together with the pianist Inmaculada Martínez Soria, within the framework of the III Jornada de Música de Cámara.
