The formal development of Divertimento I is subordinated to an internal mathematical order, and the rhythmic distribution of quarter-tone too, so that it gives the performer a new musical ear that sharpens microtonal listening as well as reading. Since this score was discovered, I can’t think of any reason not to use it, being a work that can provide us, in an artistic way, with an innovative rhythmic and sound space. I also think the work should become a key didactic piece that can expand the training of the student to the point of taking the work to the stage for public performance. (Sixto Herrero)
