Desert Camel is a dramatic piece that talks about a camel with his lover. He is like a desert ship because of his patience, courage and his ability to withstand the open desert, the isolation and estrangement at the crossroads of the elements; the intense sunlight  and the darkness, the terror and the fear, the calmness & safety. There are no barriers between him and the rest of the world in his struggle to survive.

This work is comissioned by “Deutsche Welle” (International German broadcaster) and will be premiered by the National Youth Orchestra of Iraq,, conducting Paul MacAlindin, during the Beethovenfest 2011 in Bonn (Germany).
