This work was awarded with the First Prize in the first edition of the Composition Competition for Guitar of the Miquel Llobet International Competition 2020 in Barcelona.
To write it, I based myself on the homonymous poem by Miguel Hernández. As I am from Elche, the poetic work of the Orihuela writer is very close and appreciated to me and therefore it seemed totally natural for me to seek inspiration from my roots.
Although there is a certain structural similarity, there really is no direct relationship between poem and music. Rather, I tried to capture what the text suggested to me. In short: an apparent delicacy that can hide deep dangers.
