The pasodoble-march Alabardero is a work from 2006 which won the 1st Prize of the Competition “Fiestas de la Virgen” in Yecla (Murcia). It follows a Classical structure, but with a rather modern style. It attempts to describe the elegance and energy of the halberdiers, one of the traditional quadrilles of the Yecla festivities.
