Dos cuentos infantiles are two pieces for clarinet and piano written in 1995. It is one of the author’s first forays into the chamber music world and they are intended for young performers. They both have the same tonal center. The first, Demasiado serio (Too serious), in minor mode, is of a more melancholic character. And the second one, Una broma (A joke), in major mode, is happy and carefree.
