This piece was commissioned by the Indonesian pianist Ananda Sukurlan in 2003 for tenor saxophone, marimba-vibraphone (with 1 percussionist) and piano. It has three movements and its language is atonal. The first and third movements have a contrapuntal and dynamic character, while the second movement uses repeated and sustained notes as a resource. It is approximately 6 minutes long.
