Vientos por Levante (Winds from Levante) is a composition inspired by a terrible wave of fires that ravaged much of the Mediterranean forest, creating a feeling of helplessness, pain, and emptiness.
Represented by a flamenco Buleria, such a personal style, full of duende and fire, I tried to convey in the composition an inner state that was a representation of those Levante winds (winds from the east), as uncontrollable and unpredictable as flamenco and its art in general.
