The musical discourse evolves towards a typical ballet language. From here, its dramatic and mysterious character leads us to a quiet section at the beginning and hectic later on to the full sound at the end. Everything that follows is of remarkable religious depth.

The Andante represents the achievement of the supreme degree of mysticism.

Subsequently, fear and grotesque elements contrast with spirituality and inner peace.

In the Allegro final, the theme and the orchestration respond to a less spiritual and more mundane concept, keeping alive the interest that derives from the dramatic force, to conclude with fanfare in a tragic outcome.
