Comissioned by the Tuba Contest Vila d’Altea, this piece narrates the adventures and misadventures of a little elephant, with episodes like En la selva (In the jungle), Balada, A paso de elefante (At the elephant’s pace) o Un elefante corriendo (An elephant running). It has three movements, which are linked without pause, with a virtuoso coda. The piece is great fun, and both the listener and performers will enjoy it from the beginning to the end.
