Inquietuds (Concerns) (guitar)

This piece represents a step forward for me, a journey towards new writing forms and the discovery of a language that opens me new paths.

Using the guitar as an instrument with plenty of resources and a tonality that never gives up, I have found a music full of inquietude, intense motives with intention, arpeggios that create tension moment by moment and little rest in others, and pauses that don’t leave time to relax.

This composition has a deserved dedication, since from the time I started to write my first compositions, one of the persons that encouraged me the most, helped and tutored me, was my good friend Joan Francesc Vidal Arasa. He is an excellent teacher and composer to whom this piece is dedicated. Thanks to him, I have been learning and evolving, and he has always had good advise to give, a very qualified opinion and the adequate words of encouragement.
