Dues cançons sobre textos de Francesc Garriga i Barata (Two songs on texts of Garriga)

I discovered the verses of the poet Francesc Garriga Barata during a Sant Jordi day that became special to me. While wider-known authors signed dozens of books, I read “Cosmonaut”, a compilation of the verses of the poet from Barcelona. I decided to put music to one of these poems, and although I could not devote much time to them, I decided to write two songs that reflected the character of the poet. The texts come from his book “Paraules al vent” (Words to the wind), specifically from the first and second poem. I have not dared to touch a comma, nor change a capital or lowercase, as I am well aware that the work of Francesc Garriga Barata was very methodical and rigorous.
