“Cinc haikús” requires a performer with two clarinets (in Bb and in A) and a CD player with an assistant. The electronic part consists of a CD with a recording structured in 28 different tracks which have to be perfectly coordinated with the acoustic part. The assistant, with the indications on the score (the marks and numbers that correspond to the tracks), has to start the CD according to the performance of the acoustic part, thus coordinating the two parts.
