The piece pays homage to the singer and songwriter from Xàtiva, linking four of his best-known songs with appropriate musical bridges. The piece starts with a distant introduction insinuating the theme of Al Vent which is then presented with all its brightness and rhythm. A transition leads to the song D’un temps, d’un país with a quasi sardana rhythm. Veles e vents, in ternary meter, offers its great expansive lyricism to link to a mourning ambience with Jo vinc d’un silenci. Another bridge, like the introduction of the piece, takes us once again to the music of the song Al vent, this time merged with Jo vinc d’un silenci bringing the music to a bright finish.
