This was commissioned for the exhibition “El museu del temps” which took place in the city of Benicarló in November, 2008.

The theme of this show-exhibition centered on the idea of “time as a solid object”. In other words, something which could be reviewed at will.

To this end, during the days that the show took place, some children selected from among the school visitors, were invited to bury toys and pieces of junk which had a personal meaning for them. The idea was to extrapolate them from oblivion by offering them, through a ritual, to eternity.

The music had to include shades of nostalgia, tenderness and a breath of final hope.  The decision was made to compose a piece spotted with the colors of the beginning of the 20th century with a few additions of modal improvisation.

The music has an “old” sonority like the objects which had to be buried, and some touches of modernity which bring tension to the situation of happy disenchantment motivated by the concept of “burying” and having the object eternally present.
