Puer natus est, Lullaby, for string quartet

This work is a Lullaby composed in 2008 on the occasion of the birth of his first grandson Alejandro Vila, premiered by the Antares Quartet in the Royal Basilica of Santa María in Pontevedra on June 6, 2009, and revised in 2021.

Adagio in E minor (II Movement of the Quartet No. 2 for strings)

This adagio, which from a stylistic point of view fits perfectly into the musical trans-avant- garde that began in the 1950s, was performed at the SGAE Hall in Santiago de Compostela on 11 December 2015 by the Amitíe Quartet on the occasion of the premiere of Quartet No. 2 for string, of which it forms part as the II movement.
