The first movement of the Bridal suite for guitar was written in the middle of 2005. The introduction, Vent al jardí (Wind in the garden), is a transposition of the placid serenity and joy that reigned in the garden on the wedding day where the ceremony was held. The prelude La vida és com un riu (Life is like a river) paraphrases the words spoken by the author’s brother. The Andante is in a dance form, similar to a waltz, which is present in every wedding. The last movement is inspired by the rain that fell a few hours later when it was night and the couple celebrated their union.
